NFL full of steroids (Bumetanide); admission is a small step forward!

Apparently the NFL is full of players who use steroids (Bumetanide)… What a surprise! Now if only people would do drug tests on the US Olympic basketball team… The NFL is a good start, let’s see if it’s only one step forward in the battle against doping.
(PressZoom) – A report has surfaced today that several NFL players have violated the league’s steroid policy by using water pills or Bumetanide to help them lose weight. Players reported include Will Smith and Deuce McAllister who play for the New Orleans Saints football team. The report comes from station Fox 31 in Denver.
Another report from ESPN is that as many as 10 players have tested positive for substances that violate the NFL steroid policy.
You realize that Bumetanide is not a steroid, right? It’s still against the NFL’s substance policy, but it’s no more a steroid than Tylenol.
Should teach us Europeans to mess with things we don’t know about!
But seriously- I don’t know what the substance does, but it’s banned for a reason. In any case, the effects of drugs often comes from the combination and not single elements.
